Located on Paseo de Diego in Río Piedras, Café Comunión has celebrated specialty coffee since 2024 in a spacious setting that also hosts occasional events. During events, Comunión's coffee bar becomes a full bar.
They have done pop-ups with Mr. Harrys, a Thai restaurant in Aguadilla, and Taquería Victoria. These pop-ups, which turn into neighborhood gatherings, emerged from a desire to bring the community together and revitalize Río Piedras's nightlife, explains Abner Roldán, one of Comunión's owners: "We have a bigger space and we saw that there's a need for more nightlife."
If it's your first visit, Abner recommends trying a cappuccino with the guava toast. It's made with bread from La Jerezana and topped with the house guava butter.
