
Located on Paseo de Diego in Río Piedras, Café Comunión has celebrated specialty coffee since 2024 in a spacious setting that also hosts occasional events. During events, Comunión's coffee bar becomes a full bar.
They have held pop-ups with Mr. Harrys, a Thai restaurant in Aguadilla, and Taquería Victoria. These pop-ups, which turn into neighborhood gatherings, grew out of a desire to bring the community together and revitalize Río Piedras's nightlife: "We have a bigger space and we saw that there's a need for more nightlife. (…) We're looking to work with other brands, cafes and restaurants to put on events at night."
If it's your first visit, Abner Roldán, one of the owners, recommends trying a cappuccino with the guava toast. It's made with bread from La Jerezana and topped with the house guava butter.
