Oyatsu Ramen Shop is a small ramen spot on avenida Miramar in Arecibo. It is open Thursday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on a first-come, first-served basis: it does not accept reservations and also handles takeout orders.
The ramen menu includes Tonkotsu, with creamy pork broth and chashu; Hakata Tonkotsu; Shoyu, with chicken and pork broth; Tantamen 2.0, with miso tare, ground pork and spicy oil; and Wantamen, with spicy wontons. Starters include edamame, spicy wontons, gyozas and chicken karaage.
The bar offers Japanese beers, cocktails such as the Yuzu Daiquiri and the Tokyo Mule, Japanese whisky and a selection of sake by the shot or by the bottle. Dessert is New York cheesecake. Only service dogs are allowed.
