This arts collective, made up of young local actors, works to produce accessible theater based on Puerto Rican history and everyday life. They present:
Mujeres en Marte highlights Puerto Rico through the perspectives of five powerful, emblematic women in its history: Celestina Cordero, Mariana Bracetti, Lola Rodríguez de Tió, Luisa Capetillo and Julia de Burgos.
Through poetic language, the play unpacks the symbolism behind the planet Mars, the lives of each character, and the metaphor of a homeland in a continuous process of construction.
