A fair for people interested in buying their first home, with guidance on products and programs such as Pronto Pa' Tu Casa from CDBG-MIT, financing and mortgage insurance products (Ley 87 Convencional, FHA Boricua, Vivienda Joven) and the Programa HOME (Rehabilitación por Dueño, Asistencia de Renta Basada en el Inquilino, Asistencia Directa al Comprador). Real estate agents, appraisers, housing counseling agencies and online comparables will be on hand. Free mortgage pre-qualification is available; to take advantage of it, attendees are encouraged to bring income information (wages) and expense information (credit cards, car payments, student loans). 📍The event will be held at the AFV headquarters, in the Banco de Desarrollo Económico building.
