The entertainment complex celebrates its fifth anniversary with a weekend of free activities for the whole family at Popular Plaza. Attendees can enjoy a varied arts program featuring artists such as El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Ana Isabelle and Christian Alicea, exclusive dining experiences, and live performances by well-known figures in Puerto Rican music. The event also includes special activations, promotions and surprises across the venue's different spaces and restaurants.
On Friday, Aug. 14, the event opens with a special night in partnership with Bacardí, which is also marking its 90th anniversary. As part of the experience, DISTRITO T-Mobile restaurants will offer a happy hour selection of cocktails made with Bacardí rums throughout the day, including options such as mojito and old fashioned. From 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., for a 90-minute window, selected cocktails will be available for just 90 cents, along with raffles, prizes and other surprises. The night will close with live performances by Christian Alicea and the band Trance.
On Saturday, Aug. 15, the Coca-Cola Food & Music Fest comes to Popular Plaza, an experience combining food and live music with artists including El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, joined by La Mulenze, DJ Negro and La Sonora Sanjuanera.
Activities continue on Sunday, Aug. 16, with a special appearance by actress and singer Ana Isabelle, as well as a musical gathering bringing together Dionicio, Cristian, Yancy, Ariana, Noelyz, Kevin, Gustavo and Vicky, members of the previous edition of Objetivo Fama.
