East Zone:
The Jardín Botánico y Cultural de Caguas is a true paradise for lovers of native flora, outdoor activities and a touch of culture. The Los 7 Chorros swimming hole in San Lorenzo is not very deep, which makes it perfect for the whole family. There are several spots to sit and let the water flow around you. To get to Los 7 Chorros, take road No. 745 and look for Bar González, a colmado. Los 7 Chorros are located right behind it.

This little corner probably has one of the best views in the northwest area. It sits on the grounds of the Faro de Rincón and has a very pleasant tropical atmosphere. They serve snacks and their mojitos are excellent; we recommend their natural orange mojito.

There's nothing like a walk with beach views as the sun goes down. At Playa María in Rincón, you'll find gravel trails and tablados that extend to the Faro de Rincón. The trail takes about 10 minutes to walk, and you can continue on to Playa Domes if you'd like. It's easy to access, family-friendly, with parking and rest and photo stops along the way.

This place is somewhere between a library and a bar. The concept is unique, and if you're a reader, you'll enjoy your time there. They have tables as well as cozy furniture where you can have great conversations with your favorite cocktail or beer in hand. And on top of that, it has an incredible view of the sea.

South Zone:
The Coamo hot springs have become a place many visit believing in their healing power to restore and cure all ailments, physical or spiritual. This thermal pool complex is an oasis surrounded by mountains, perfect for relaxing, connecting with nature and feeling as though youth is eternal.

Steps from the public plaza in Coamo is BarMuseo, where you'll find a variety of cocktails, craft beers, wine, pizzas, sushi and tapas. It's located next to the Museo Histórico de Coamo and has a beautiful patio with a relaxed, romantic atmosphere.

Do you like off-roading? At Aventura 4×4 you can cover more than 200 cuerdas of terrain in your own vehicle. After that adventure, slow things down and dig into the flavors of the countryside with a menu full of Puerto Rican classics like fried pork and pernil, plus plenty of fritters.

North Zone:
Food and art hold a unique place in Puerto Rican culture, and Calle Cerra in Santurce brings both together. Walk its streets to take in a wide selection of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and an urban art gallery that fills every corner of the neighborhood.

Just south of Balneario El Escambrón lies the approximately 27-acre Luis Muñoz Rivera park. It has several paths lined with leafy trees, wooden benches, a playground and various sculptures. The park is a good spot for outdoor recreation, and its gardens make it a popular location for photography enthusiasts.

Kayaking is one of the safer water activities, which makes it a good fit for the whole family. On this tour of the Condado lagoon, visitors can have a one-of-a-kind experience where the endemic flora and fauna accompany a nighttime kayak or paddle outing that engages all the senses.
Beyond the kayaking experience, the lagoon offers a path for walking or cycling with a direct route to Old San Juan, Miramar or Condado.
