Loíza Mayor Julia Nazario told Platea that the municipality has not set up fixed water stations, but instead makes rounds through areas without water service, distributing bottled water and filling cisterns.
"We don't set up water stations. We go house by house… I've been dealing with this situation (of water service interruptions) for six months. We bring water to business owners. We're well organized. If there's any plan, it's from Friday (Aug. 5) onward (the day the Carraízo rationing begins)," Nazario said.
